Your soul is calling.

Answer the invitation.

NURTURE is a 4D/3N retreat like no other.

This luxe getaway is thoughtfully crafted to infuse rest and relaxation with the building blocks of the Deen. Ignite your curiosity and expand your horizons. Discover your best, authentic self.

Soul care sessions to nourish the spirit. A nutritional workshop to make peace with your plate. Beautiful practices on Grounding and journalling to elevate your connection with your Creator.

Energise with a bath house experience that offers contemplation. Relax over coffee and sembang sessions for transformative tools and tips that cleanse the soul. Sembang is the local Malay word for a casual chat over drinks.

Escape the ordinary and embrace extraordinary self-care practices. Your passionate hosts will gently guide you to nurture your mind, body and spirit. Return home with new-found skills to help you (and others) flourish in this beautiful Deen.

“You can do as much or as little as you want!”

Return home with a renewed spirit and a heart strengthened with purpose.

“The retreat I participated in 2022 with Halaluxe has been transformative and fun. It allowed me to reset my physical wellbeing and mind, especially my spirit. I ask for a repeat, please … but in a different venue!”

THE RESORT

Your One Island, One Resort awaits.

Set off the west coast of Malaysia on its own 300-acre private island, the luxurious Pangkor Laut Resort is a tropical haven amidst pristine ancient rainforest. Relax by the turquoise waters of the Straits of Malacca at the island’s famed Emerald Bay that is accessible only to guests of the resort. Enjoy the white sand and the evening breeze as you watch the sun set over the horizon.

Villas either fringe the hillside or gracefully balance on stilts over water. Bedrooms are elegantly done in the traditional Malay style, with high wooden ceilings and a private balcony for sea-gazing and spotting the island’s wildlife including hornbills, flying squirrels and eagles.

The resort’s expansive grounds include large swimming pools, beaches, gardens and jungle trails, plus romantic spots for sunsets and sea views. The award-winning Spa Village offers world-class treatments combining therapeutic properties of natural local ingredients with the region’s traditional healing practices. Guests can also seek out the healing huts for a Chinese or Ayurvedic consultation. The spa’s centrepiece is the Bath House, a transportive collection of bathing rituals derived from Malay, Chinese and Japanese traditions that invite tranquility as you take to the waters.

Pangkor Laut Resort is just 3 hours 15 minutes from Kuala Lumpur International Airport. The resort provides car transfers to their office on Marina Island, Pangkor and it’s a 15-minute speedboat ride from there to the resort.

“Your retreat has provided me with the ability to reflect and gain better clarity of my thoughts. The food was great, masyaAllah! And I especially enjoyed the Jemaah prayers!”

MEET YOUR HOSTS

Anis Ramli

Anis is the Founder & Curator of Halaluxe. She travels the world working with luxury properties eager to embrace halal mindfulness to welcome the underserved affluent Muslim traveller. She speaks regularly at conferences sharing her insights on luxury halal and contributes to publications in both Malaysia and Singapore on the niche Muslim luxury travel market.

She curated the Halaluxe retreat as an exclusive space to enrich the self holistically with tools derived from the Prophetic values. Her strength is in showcasing the ease in which one can elevate their connection with the Deen against a fun and relaxing environment. Drawing on her degree in Psychology and experience in counselling, Anis has taught journalling as Guest Artist at Spa Village Resort Tembok in Bali as well as in Malaysia.

She leads the reverts programme at Malaysia’s Al Khaadem, an NGO that focuses on sharing the Prophetic message, and also serves as a mentor to new Muslims. She will go to the ends of the Earth for a good bar of dark chocolate and remains firm to finish her Japanese language course top of the class.

Coach Daing “Dann” Daniel Fitri

CEO and Founder of Crossfit Pahlawan, Coach Dann, aims to make wellness attainable for everyone. The success of many of his bespoke health and nutrition programmes is in keeping them real and relatable. An Asian diet is not pasta and grilled chicken all the time. In his Make Peace with your Plate session, he’ll help you see how rice, curry and Mandy are not “bad” foods and why a Western diet fails us most times. Building upon the Prophetic eating etiquettes, you will learn how to balance your eating, identify hunger cues and unlearn the stigma associated with certain foods.

FAQs

What is the Halaluxe Retreat?
The Halaluxe Retreat is the perfect platform to reignite your purpose and passion in life. It’s a unique experiential journey that blends
spirituality and luxury in an exclusive getaway that nourishes the body and soul. Led by compassionate hosts at the top of their game, you will be guided to reset your connection with the faith, empowering you to become a more productive and committed Believer. Beyond personal growth, insightful activities will equip you with skills to effectively share the beautiful message of the Deen with others.
What experience do I need?
Our retreats are open to everyone – no prior retreat experience is required. Everyone can gain some benefit from attending the retreat.

What’s a typical day like?
A typical day begins with performing Fajr in congregation. This is followed by the day’s first soul feed/inspirational reminder. Breakfast follows and there’s free time to enjoy the beautiful resort. Then there is an activity of your choice before we proceed to lunch.

The afternoon is meant to give you space for rest and relaxation, and time to reflect, absorb and go deeper into the activity, if you choose.  You may decide to do it with a walk, swim or just curl up and nap. It is up to you. We meet again for Maghrib in congregation before proceeding to dinner. Breaks and rest time are built into the daily schedule. All scheduled offerings during the retreat are optional and we encourage and trust you to make choices that best support your needs!

Can I opt out of an activity if I’m tired or not interested?
Yes, you can. You can do as little or as much as you want!

Do you allow children at your retreat?
We welcome families to attend the retreat together. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “When a Muslim spends something on his family, intending to receive Allah’s reward, it is regarded as charity for him.” (Bukhari)

Can we upgrade our villa?
Yes! Just reach out to me before booking at anis@halaluxe.com to find out about availability!
What happens after securing my spot?
You’ll receive a welcome message with general trip information three weeks before the retreat. We will create a WhatsApp group one week before the retreat to share time-sensitive updates both before and during the event.
Can I arrive late and depart early?
You are more than welcome to do so. However, the same rate applies and you will be responsible for making your own arrangements outside the designated arrival/departure framework.
Do you provide a refund if I cannot attend the trip?
We understand sometimes things may not go our way. Unfortunately. we do not provide refunds for cancellation of the retreat.
